I shape my world from scraps of reality, deconstructing narratives about nature and science to craft my own. My place is the area between cultural constructions and introspection, blending uneasiness and irony.

In my practice, photography combines the physicality of object-making and sculpting. I obsessively research various mediums and techniques, whether experimenting with hand-made silver gelatin prints or printing digitally on unconventional supports. Printing images is as crucial to my work as capturing them.

Diego Brambilla is an Italian-born Swiss artist who lives and works in Zurich. His work has been displayed internationally in various locations including the UK, Switzerland, France, and Italy. In 2015 he graduated from the University of the Arts London in the UK.
